Via del Pratello’s History
Originally named Peradello, the street was lined with pear trees, just as other nearby streets were named after walnut (Nosadella) and ash trees (Frassinago).
Its history dates back to the 12th and 13th centuries, evolving from a hub for the underprivileged to a center for artisan shops and political movements. Today, it remains a symbol of resistance, celebrated each year with the “Pratello R’esiste” festival every 25th of April.
