15 Wonderful Glamping in Italy

COSA TROVERAI IN QUESTO POST:
What is Glamping?
Glamping structures combine comfort and nature into a unique experience: transparent domes, bungalows, and yurts designed according to the principles of bioarchitecture, with a low environmental impact and carefully crafted interiors that reflect the natural surroundings. In a glamping site, you can experience camping in style: from staying in a tent reminiscent of the African savanna to relaxing in a mini wooden chalet while sipping a cocktail. Each pre-set tent reveals a cozy retreat with comfortable beds, colorful fabrics, and exotic decorations.
These structures harmoniously blend with the surrounding nature, offering an eco-friendly and intimate vacation, far from the noises of daily life.

Glamping in Italy
From Veneto to Apulia, Marche, Abruzzo ma anche in Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany which holds the record for the most glamping sites, there is a glamping experience in nearly every region of Italy. Some options are simpler, while others are more luxurious, but all of them are unique and perfect for romantic nights under the stars and unforgettable weekends.
This is a list I compiled for myself, a kind of wishlist of the most beautiful glamping spots I’ve found online, where I can’t wait to stay soon! Let me tell you more about them in detail.
Glamping Canonici di San Marco, Mirano (VE) – Veneto
One of the best glamping spots in Italy: Canonici di San Marco is a 4-star resort with canopy beds, colorful and chic décor in a 60 sqm suite. It has everything you need for an eco-chic luxury weekend. Here, you can rent bikes, enjoy free Wi-Fi, and taste freshly prepared daily products.

Yurta Valchiusella, Bosso (TO) – Piemonte
In this original Mongolian yurt, you will have the opportunity to use it as a base for a relaxing vacation, with walks and nature discoveries. Its structure represents the Universe: the roof symbolizes the sky, the central circle the sun, the two pillars that support it are trees, and each of them also represents the parts of the family and the individual. Every yurt is “baptized,” and inside, you’ll find the full explanation of its history and symbolism.

Villaggio La Pescaccia, San Clemente (RN) – Emilia Romagna
Surrounded by a vast park in the Rimini countryside, Villaggio La Pescaccia offers several accommodation types, from traditional rooms to bungalows, and of course, glamping tents with all the comforts. The Luxury Tent is the perfect balance between elegance and a connection with nature. It offers 60 sqm + 30 sqm patio + 200 sqm private garden, Wi-Fi, an outdoor hot tub, and up to three beds.
Update: Two weeks after this article’s initial publication, I stayed here at Villaggio La Pescaccia! You can read about my experience in this post.
Spoiler alert: it was absolutely magical—far beyond my expectations.

Cubo con Vista, Pavullo sul Frignano (MO) – Emilia Romagna
They offer a unique experience in the Apennines: you can enjoy a magical night under a starry sky. No tents or yurts here; you’ll sleep in a transparent cube surrounded by nature! The room is finely decorated, but the bathroom is outside!

Agriturismo il Granello, Pianoro (BO) – Emilia Romagna

Yurta del Cervo , Gaggio Montano (BO) – Emilia Romagna
This is a yurt full of love. Built by hand by the owners and gently sheltered by pine trees and fruit trees, it offers a beautiful view of the Apennines. Beyond nature, there is also a lot of history: it’s located on the historic Gothic Line. The owners’ cats, but especially their dogs, will warmly welcome you upon arrival. The yurt is spacious and bright, surrounded by the forest but with an open view. It is entirely handcrafted using natural materials.

La Casa dei Nonni, Fermo (FM) – Marche
A beautiful house on the hills, far from the noise of the city. Here lies La Casa dei Nonni, which tells a family story many can relate to. The tent experience is simple, designed for more adaptable travelers. The structure also offers traditional rooms in the house for a typical bed-and-breakfast experience.
Agriturismo Fattoria La Prugnola, Montescudaio (PI) – Toscana
The owners of Fattoria la Prugnola like to call it an Agri-eco-camping, where you can enjoy a unique stay in a yurt or lodge tent. Private tables and gardens are available for your convenience. Located halfway between the sea and the city’s services, but without forgetting the best comforts, such as local food, nature, and tranquility.

Camping Maremma Sans Souci, Castiglione della Pescaia (GR) -Toscana
Next, let’s head to Grosseto province to Camping Maremma Sans Souci. Safari Lodge-style tents and Big Country tents transport visitors to Africa, in a breathtaking landscape. Each accommodation is beautifully furnished and equipped with many comforts, as well as stunning and evocative verandas overlooking the vast nature.

Glamping Il Sole, Civitella Paganico (GR) – Toscana
Located in Civitella Paganico, in the heart of Tuscany, Glamping Il Sole offers accommodations in a delightful treehouse or the “Cupola Crystal” yurt, overlooking the garden. They provide functional furnishings, a bio-shop, and a restaurant serving Tuscan cuisine with fresh, locally produced vegetables and cheeses.
All comforts are available, including Wi-Fi, restaurant, and barbecue area.

L’Antica Terra, Canino (VT) – Lazio
Far from the city noise, you can enjoy a true detoxifying stay. This is the only structure in Italy with an island system, where all harmful electromagnetic sources (such as hairdryers) are prohibited. It’s certainly a place very different from the accommodations we’re used to, a “survival zone” where hares, rabbits, wild boars, and falcons roam freely.

L’Agricampeggio & Glamping Torre Sabea, Gallipoli (LE) – Puglia
L’Agricampeggio & Glamping Torre Sabea is located just outside Gallipoli, known for its beautiful beaches, and is close to other Salento tourist spots like Leuca and Lecce. The site offers ample space for traditional campers and RVers, but also features bungalow apartments with kitchenettes, patios, and parking. The luxury tents in the glamping area with a private pool offer a relaxing atmosphere for a unique experience in Salento. Pets are welcome, and the structure also offers a shuttle service to nearby tourist sites. Bicycle rentals are available for a full immersion in nature.

Bric dei Galli, Vesime (AT) – Piemonte
A vacation in a yurt offered by Bric dei Galli, amidst the splendor and uniqueness of the Langhe region. An experience immersed in nature and a desire to share. Ideal for those who love alternative vacations and nights under the stars. You’ll live your little dream surrounded by delicious local food and the company of many animals.

Cerchio del Desiderio Glamping Retreat, Pescara (PE) – Abruzzo
Located at the border of the municipalities of Pianella and Loreto Aprutino in Pescara province, between the Adriatic Sea and the Apennines, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. Cerchio del Desiderio offers traditional accommodations, domes, and yurts amidst centuries-old olive trees. Here, you can take part in yoga sessions, Ayurvedic or Shiatsu massages, or enjoy a swim in the pool while admiring the stunning landscape of the Gran Sasso mountain range. Additionally, the site is strategically located for exploring Abruzzo’s medieval villages or practicing sports between the sea and mountains.

Ciriga Sicily Glamping By Blanco’s Home, Ispica (RG) – Sicilia
Now, let’s head to Sicily, where this fantastic glamping area and traditional holiday homes are, naturally, immersed in nature. Exquisite luxury tents named after typical local trees offer a perfect experience for couples and families, with options for 2 to 5 people. The location is particularly strategic, close to art cities, fantastic beaches, and nature for sports activities.
