Glamping in the Riviera Romagnola, Villaggio la Pescaccia

Going Glamping in Riviera Romagnola was an exciting discovery! I want to tell you about my original trip between camping, glamour and nature: looking at the stars and eating in a tent.
As anticipated in the article, “15 wonderful Glamping in Italy”, I actually went to one of the glamping facilities listed in the piece. I leave full of expectations and head towards Romagna, in the province of Rimini.
COSA TROVERAI IN QUESTO POST:
Glamping in Rivera Romagnola
After visiting some of the most beautiful villages in Italy including San Leo and Montebello, we arrive at the Villaggio della Pescaccia a San Clemente (RN) which is just a 20-minute drive from Riccione, where peace and tranquility reign supreme. The village is booked for Thursday night. We thus avoid the comings and goings of the weekend and fully enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, just what we were looking for. The staff welcomes us with great kindness, after completing the check-in procedures, we are accompanied to our accommodation: Junior safari tent with panoramic bubble.
After a short walk through the park among the other independent tents – glamping of different sizes and styles –, we arrive at ours which is a very glamorous Safari tent.
We have a hot tub, 200 square meters of garden with deckchairs for sunbathing and, behind the vegetation, the highlight: the panoramic bubble.
Read below, in detail, everything I found in this wonderful accommodation.

The Junior Tent
The tent is about 45 square meters. It is a very resistant light wood structure, on which the “walls” and the “roof” in white fabric are mounted. It is accessed through a zippered opening.
The impression is of lightness but, in reality, the structure is very solid. The furniture is in a minimal style: light colors and simple lines. The space, despite being only 45 square meters, is well organized, without useless objects, therefore it is more than sufficient.

The comforts of the Tent
In the living area there is a fully functional kitchenette, equipped with two burners, a sink, a small refrigerator, drawers and cabinets containing dishes and everything needed for cooking. Next to it, a sofa and a table with 4 comfortable chairs for eating.
Sleeping area: it has 4 beds. Behind the kitchen we find the first double bedroom, the mattress is very comfortable and extra blankets and pillows are available. Attached to one side of the “wall” at the foot of the bed there is also a smart TV to which, if desired, you can connect YouTube and Netflix.
The second bedroom is located in the mezzanine above the kitchen. It is a little low but very nice.
Of course, among the amenities, there is also air conditioning.
The bathroom with shower is small but comfortable and complete with all the services, including the mini-sized toiletries that are usually found in hotels. And the water pressure, taking a shower, amazes us: truly heavenly! In short, an impeccable tent complete with certification of ozone sanitization.

The Private Garden
Outside there is a small porch covered by the tent itself of about 25 square meters. Here you could also bring the table to eat outside. Next to this “porch” there is the 6-seater hot tub with water heated to 38 °. As soon as I arrived, the first thing I did was put on my swimsuit and take a bath. Really a panacea after a day in the car!
The view from the garden overlooking the private lake of the structure is fantastic!

The Panoramic Bubble
In the garden on the left, here is the panoramic sphere, a transparent structure continuously inflated and ventilated by a motor. You enter through a passage with a double zipper. Inside there is a romantic canopy bed in natural wood, with very soft white and colored pillows.
I must admit that during the day in the bubble it is a bit hot, but at night you are perfectly sheltered from the wind and it is wonderful to look at the stars while lying under the duvet!
The only contraindications for those who are light sleepers: the noise of the motor for the air recirculation, which also serves to keep the spherical structure inflated, and the sunlight that invades the space from the early hours of the morning.

Dinner at Villaggio la Pescaccia
The facility does not have a restaurant, but at the reception they told us about a local place that offers delivery service directly to the tent! Given the beauty of the place, we did not mind having dinner in the “room” at all.
After eating a “Rustita di pesce” (typical Romagna grilled fish), we finished the bottle of wine sitting on the patio, looking at the stars and enjoying the silence.

The facility
At the Villaggio la Pescaccia – Rimini – there is scrupulous observance of hygiene and safety regulations for the containment of Covid-19. In common areas, masks and respect for interpersonal distances are mandatory. At the entrance to each room, as well as in the reception and bar, there are bottles of sanitizer. The large swimming pool, unfortunately, cannot be used for safety reasons.
There is also a wellness area and a sports area, in addition to the bar open 24 hours a day.
There are of course also traditional rooms, each equipped with a private hot tub on the balcony

Breakfast
Breakfast at Villaggio La Pescaccia is really abundant, both sweet and savory. I was really impressed by the variety of homemade cakes, very colorful and all different: from chocolate cake, to apple cake, to cream and fresh fruit cake. And then, there are brioches of all kinds, fruit juices, yogurt and cereals.
Drinks are ordered from the bar and everything is served at the table on the outdoor terrace overlooking the lake. Wonderful in the early morning!
What to expect from Glamping in Riviera Romagnola
I didn’t find any particular flaws in this structure that has very little of traditional camping, as I had hoped. In fact, I wanted to have a glamorous experience in contact with nature and in silence: exactly what I found.
So the glamping experience went well beyond my rosiest expectations and I was also satisfied with the service: the staff is very competent and extremely kind.
Everything was a pleasant discovery, and the quality/price ratio was also excellent!
I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to unplug and relax close, but not too close, to the sea.
