COSA TROVERAI IN QUESTO POST:
Once Upon a Time…
The story of Moseralm Dolomites Spa Resort truly begins like a fairytale!
It all started in the 1950s with a love story between Siegfried, a woodcutter, and Filomena, a refined young woman from the Val d’Ultimo. They met and fell in love at a small mountain hut owned by the Moserhof farm in Nova Levante, near Lake Carezza.
In 1952, the couple married, and Siegfried began expanding their little love nest, transforming it into a cozy refuge with just four wooden rooms for guests.
Over time, the couple, who had seven children, kept expanding the lodge. Today, after countless renovations, their descendants still manage what was once a simple mountain hut, now a renowned wellness and hospitality destination in the Dolomites.

Their children (Monika, Erika, Karola, and Markus), along with the third generation of hoteliers, are committed to offering guests a truly unique experience. Their warm hospitality, deep-rooted family traditions, and openness to modern trends make every stay unforgettable.
From the moment we arrived, we felt the family’s passion and love for their hotel. Their enthusiasm was contagious, making us fall in love with Moseralm before we even stepped inside!
Arrival at Moseralm Dolomites Spa Resort
Set in a lush valley beneath the towering Latemar massif, the hotel’s white façade, sloping roofs, and carved wooden balconies give it a classic yet romantic alpine look. But inside? A perfect fusion of modern elegance and traditional mountain charm.
We were welcomed as if we were part of the family, taken through the beautiful common areas while the staff proudly shared the hotel’s history.
The lobby is spacious, with a mix of sleek, colorful, futuristic furnishings and handcrafted Tyrolean details. These carefully chosen elements add warmth and character to the space.
On the ground floor, a bright, panoramic restaurant and a cozy bar await guests. We kicked off our stay with a delightful welcome aperitif: local beer, South Tyrolean speck, and cheese.
It was the perfect start!

The Junior Suite at Moseralm Dolomites Spa Resort
If we had any doubts about our choice, they vanished the moment we stepped into our room. We were absolutely blown away!
We stayed in a Junior Suite with a balcony offering breathtaking views over the valley and the surrounding mountains.
The room was spacious and designed in a chic Nordic style, blending soft fabrics with natural wood. Warm orange hues complemented the wooden furniture, accented with shades of gray and pops of red.
The king-sized bed was massive, topped with plush, cozy blankets and oversized pillows.

The bathroom was cleverly divided: one section housed the toilet, bidet, and a small sink, while the other featured a spacious walk-in rain shower with ambient lighting and a larger sink, positioned near the balcony door.
And speaking of the balcony, it was the ultimate relaxation spot, with two comfy chairs for soaking in the scenery.
Little touches from the hotel made our stay even more special: fluffy robes, a spa bag with towels and slippers, a basket of apples, two chocolate chip cookies (which we devoured instantly), and a tiny Dolomite rock as a keepsake. Such a sweet and thoughtful gesture!

The Spa at Moseralm
The Dolomites Mountain Spa (adults only) at Moseralm is pure bliss. It features a Finnish sauna, snow room, cold plunge pool, relaxation areas, gym, and beauty center, among many other luxuries.
After a day of hiking and exploring at Prennergut with llamas and alpacas , coming back to unwind in the spa was nothing short of amazing.
The highlight? The Enrosadira Sky Pool is an outdoor infinity pool on a panoramic terrace. Floating in warm water while watching the Dolomites glow under the sunset was an experience I’ll never forget!

The next day, however, having returned from Anna-Maria’s Kronlechnerhof, where I cooked dumplings, we opted for the indoor swimming pool in the “family-friendly” wellness area, after which we moved to the relaxation area to enjoy a relaxing herbal tea, reclining on comfortable sofas in front of the breathtaking view.
Dining at Moseralm Dolomites Spa Resort
I’ll admit it—I’m usually skeptical about hotel half-board options. But at Moseralm, I was proven wrong.
The restaurant was stunning, and our table had a front-row seat to the breathtaking sunset over the Catinaccio peaks.

Each night, we had three options for appetizers, mains, and desserts, featuring fresh ingredients and creative twists on traditional recipes. The service? Impeccable.

Our first dinner included:
- Speck-wrapped goat cheese rolls with baby spinach and walnuts
- Cheese dumplings with marinated sauerkraut and Trentin grana
- Juicy beef bavette with mashed potatoes and mushrooms
- Paired with Forst beer
- For dessert: a trio of indulgences—dark chocolate-orange macarons, pistachio cake, and my first-ever Linzertorte!
The second night, we had:
Parmigiana 2.0 – a fresh, summery twist on the classic dish
Cod-stuffed ravioli with datterini tomato cream and lemon-potato foam
Seabream fillet with eggplant purée, zucchini flower, and yellow confit tomatoes
A spectacular three-chocolate cake and a cheese selection with homemade jams
Every dish was a masterpiece!

Breakfast: A Feast for Every Taste
Breakfast was another highlight. The buffet was a paradise for both sweet and savory lovers, featuring croissants, colorful donuts, pancakes, freshly baked cakes, yogurt with seeds and nuts, homemade jams, honey, cold cuts, cheese, eggs, and even plant-based milk options.
Each morning, a “Daily Bulletin” listed the hotel’s planned activities, such as guided hikes, aqua fitness classes, and wellness programs.

The Priceless Detail at Moseralm
The one thing I’ll always remember? Sitting on the balcony at night, gazing at a sky filled with stars over the mountains, in absolute peace.
This magical atmosphere, the serenity of Eggental, and the warmth of Moseralm will stay with me forever.

Final Thoughts
A hotel can have all the luxury in the world, but it’s the people who make it exceptional. At Moseralm Dolomites Spa Resort, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, always professional yet genuinely warm.
They didn’t need a feedback form to know we loved every moment—we could see it in each other’s eyes.
How could I give anything less than a five-star review to such a magical place?
