Where to Stay in Ferrara: Il Giardino di Rebecca Bed and Breakfast

Where to stay in Ferrara: Where to sleep in Ferrara?

Here is a Bed and Breakfast with rural-chic charm, immersed in the tranquility of Ferrara’s surroundings: Il Giardino di Rebecca is the ideal setting for a charming getaway in the heart of Emilia-Romagna, amidst nature, wellness, and infinite relaxation.

Imagine a place where the hustle and bustle of the city dissolve into the silence of nature, where each season gifts a unique atmosphere of peace and relaxation.

In an extraordinary landscape setting, in the heart of the Ferrara countryside, where one can get lost in the pages of a book, take a bike ride, or stroll through the Renaissance city and UNESCO heritage site, lies this little gem of hospitality and warmth. I spent three wonderful days and two nights in total relaxation: Il Giardino di Rebecca.

This splendid Bed and Breakfast where to stay in Ferrara is a true oasis of serenity where guests can escape the city’s frenzy and be enchanted by the unspoiled beauty of the surrounding nature.

A Perfect place to stay in Ferrara

Il Giardino di Rebecca consists of several apartments and rooms, all overlooking the beautiful garden, which from spring until October transforms into a paradise.

Guests can relax in the sun while reading a book under lush trees, cool off in the pool, or access the wellness area with the indoor hot tub. There is also the possibility to organize barbecues with friends or enjoy aperitifs on the veranda to the sound of cicadas.

And what about winter? Well, I stayed here in December and was not disappointed at all! Here’s the surprise that this beautiful Bed and Breakfast near Ferrara had in store for me!

The Yellow Room: unexpected luxury and relaxation

My journey began with the warmth of the Yellow double room. The welcome was sublime: a spacious, impeccably clean area with a soft and inviting bed! The bathroom, decorated in a modern style, was very spacious, featuring a large shower with a rainfall showerhead—my favorite!

Next to the bed, behind the curtains, there is a French door that allows easy access to the garden. In summer, it’s the perfect spot to sit at the small table and immerse yourself in the greenery.

But that’s not all…

The private wellness area!

Now for the unique detail that exceeded all my expectations: the private wellness area right next to our room! Through a discreet door, we had exclusive access to the Bed and Breakfast’s wellness area. Waiting just for us was a spacious hot tub with steaming water and a Finnish sauna.

This feature was especially appreciated during our December stay when the outside temperatures were particularly cold and humid.

I can assure you that immersing ourselves in the hot tub and then moving to the sauna, in complete privacy and without any disturbances, was an absolute delight!

The delicious breakfast

Mornings at Il Giardino di Rebecca begin with the chirping of birds and continue with a sumptuous breakfast!

The breakfast area offers a banquet of delights with different treats every day, including freshly baked cakes, fragrant croissants, fresh fruit, yogurt, and a variety of beverages to suit every preference.

Despite the wide selection, worthy of a 5-star hotel, what I appreciated the most was the authentic and informal atmosphere: Eleonora greets you with a warm smile and prepares a delicious frothy cappuccino while chatting and offering tips on what to see and do in Ferrara.

Eleonora: the kind soul behind the warm welcome

Within the beautiful setting of Il Giardino di Rebecca, the hospitality was made truly special by Eleonora, the owner of this charming Bed and Breakfast. Her kindness and friendliness turned every moment spent here into an authentic and heartfelt experience.

Eleonora is not just the hostess but also a trusted advisor, ready to suggest bike routes, museum visits, shortcuts for the best shopping in town and local markets, as well as recommend the most fascinating events in the city. Her passion for good food is reflected in her valuable tips on the most characteristic local restaurants, where you can taste the region’s delicacies.

The restaurant she recommended on our first night was phenomenal—we loved it so much that we went back the second evening to try different dishes!

Final Thoughts

Il Giardino di Rebecca is much more than just a place to stay; it’s a complete experience that embraces comfort, nature, and the authenticity of Italian hospitality. The perfect place to disconnect and recharge.

Eleonora and her Bed and Breakfast ensure unforgettable moments, offering visitors the chance to fully immerse themselves in the beauty of Ferrara’s surroundings while enjoying the comforts and attention to detail of a high-quality service.

I highly recommend Il Giardino di Rebecca for a relaxing weekend immersed in nature during summer and for a luxurious retreat in winter, thanks to the private wellness area.

I am sure this place will enchant you just as it did me!
