Upon arriving at Agriturismo Il Meletto, it’s immediately clear that this place has a soul of its own. It’s not just somewhere to sleep—it’s an experience that allows you to immerse yourself in Tuscan rural life, where every detail is lovingly curated.

The peacefulness of the place is tangible from the very beginning, as soon as you turn onto the dirt road that cuts through the fields and leads to the farmhouse.
At night, the sounds of nature help you completely unplug. It’s wonderful to be secluded, enjoying the starry sky and the croaking frogs—yet you’re still very close to the town of Lari.

On Saturday morning, I woke up early and looked out the window to see two horses grazing peacefully in the garden. A simple image, but one that made my stay even more special.

We stayed in the Violetta Room, inspired by a poem by Dante Alighieri, located on the first floor. As soon as we arrived, we enjoyed a glass of wine at the outdoor table.

Breakfast is served in the common room overlooking the garden, and it’s a moment not to be underestimated. And I believe the pictures speak for themselves!
Homemade products, fresh jams, cakes, yogurt, and steaming coffee brewed in a moka pot greet you each morning for the perfect start to your day.

On Saturday evening, we had the pleasure of joining the pizza night. We ordered a margherita pizza to share and immediately noticed the quality: the dough was light and crispy, and the ingredients incredibly fresh. The final touch? Fresh basil picked from the garden… when they say details make the difference!

In addition to a large garden with tables for outdoor dining in the shade of the trees, Agriturismo Il Meletto offers a truly unique setting: behind the farmhouse stretch fields and nature trails—perfect for those who love long walks surrounded only by the sounds of the wind.
With a bit of luck, you might even spot a friendly family of piglets roaming freely!

Among the highlights of this farmhouse with a view in Tuscany is also a small natural pool, ideal for a refreshing dip on summer days, or simply to relax and admire the soft silhouette of the hills changing color with the light of the sunset.
